Barry Tristram is an electronics repairman with higher aspirations – to be the world’s greatest snuff filmmaker. Along with the mysteriously silent Cobb, his nascent producer, Tristram engineers a scheme to create his first opus: CORKUM'S COLUMBIAN NECKTIE. Unfortunately, what seems like a foolproof plan turns out to be a tangled web of insurance scams, loan sharks, and double-crosses. A Dying Art is a black comedy about throwing it all away just to leave something behind.
